Victorian Minister for Small Business Jaala Pulford has announced a $54.5 million outdoor economy package to support businesses and other organisations.
“So, I’m delighted today to announce the outdoor economy package which will provide $54.5 million to support businesses and other organisations to be doing all of those things that we all want to be outdoors and safely,” Ms Pulford told a media conference on Monday.
“So, it breaks down into a couple of parts, so $14.5 million of this funding is for an outdoor activation voucher program.
“It’ll support 7,000 businesses, community organisations, not for profits, and trade organisations with $2000 grants when they commit to spending at least $200 towards outdoor initiatives.
“The other part is a $40 million COVID safe outdoor activation fund, which will help councils to support local businesses.”
